    It’s a family friend’s home on Pensacola Beach. It was built as an experimental hurricane resistant home and It worked. The owner stayed there during the 2004-2005 hurricane seasons, even through Ivan, Dennis, and Katrina.

    That house was on a HGTV show called Extreme Living.

    Very well thought out. The owner of that house has another soon to be house located in Colorado or one of the states that get alot of snow and is supposed to be blizzard and/or avalanche proof.
